  • I did not receive a personal access code by email, what can I do?
    First, please note that only participants that have registered for the Congress will have access to the Virtual Congress Hall. Having an accepted paper does not automatically mean that you are registered. For example, if another (co-)author of a contribution, like the supervisor, has registered in order to upload the paper, the other (co-)authors still have to register separately.

    If you have indeed registered, please check your Spam/Junk folder for an email from IFAC 2020. The email will have been sent to the email address that was used for the registration. Even if you would normally use your university/company email, please also check your personal email, in case that was used.

    If you still cannot find your personal access code, please contact us via the options below.

  • Will the tutorials, plenaries, and other live components be available to watch on demand?
    Yes, the videos of the live components will be available for re-streaming in the Virtual Congress Hall, usually a day after they were streamed for the first time. You will find the recordings in their corresponding Sessions, which you can easily find via the "Agenda" link in the virtual Congress Lobby.

  • I would like to register for the (pre-conference) workshops, is this still possible?
    No, sorry. Registration to the (pre-conference) workshops is no longer possible.

  • I have registed for the Congress. Do I have access to the material of the workshops?
    No, sorry, this is not possible, as workshops required a separate registration. We hope that you will enjoy the Global Live Track and the Technical Program with 2950 contributions (paper, video, and presentation slides, where available) which are part of your registration.

  • Is it possible to download the complete preprints, including all PDFs, as they normally are made available on a USB drive at other conferences?
    Please note that all regular contributions will appear on IFAC-PapersOnLine after the Congress. The complete preprints including the PDF files of the contributed papers (but not the videos or presentation slides) are available in the virtual congress hall under News. Please watch out, the file is 2.2GB in size.

  • Where can I get an overview of the program?
    You will find a general overview in the "Agenda" section of the virtual Congress lobby. Inside of the Technical Program part, you can classify all the sessions by category to help you navigate through the large amount of technical contributions.

  • When I look for a contribution, how can I find out to which session it belongs to?
    When viewing the details page of a contribution, where you'll find information like abstract, presentation video, or the paper PDF, the session is displayed in the top part of the website, just below the title of the contribution. Clicking there will show all papers of that session.
